G55-508 Dust-proof Ammonia Gas Detector and E55-508 Explosion-proof Ammonia Gas Detector.
G55-507 and E55-507 Gas detectors are equipped with a semiconductor head suitable for Ammonia gas detection (high toxicity). The detection is specified in P.P.M. (Part Per Million) and the set-up standard is:Pre-Alarm : 1000 P.P.M.Alarm : 2000 P.P.M.
The head average life time is 3 years with the best ambient conditions and without pollution. After this period, the head can be replaced through an easy and chip operation, without disassembling the detector.This procedure has to be executed by authorized people.
The detector is equipped with a dust-proof metal housing (ADFT) where both the electronics and the sensitive element are located. The sensitive element is positioned in the lowest part and is protected by a proper stainless steel small net.The E55-508 Explosion-proof Gas Detector is provided with the ATEX Certificate II 2G Ex d IIC T6.The housing is in die-cast aluminium and contains the electronic part suitable for classified areas. al The sensitive element is located into a AISI 300 stainless steel or chromed brass housing. It is resined and homologated and then positioned in the lowest part of the housing. Here it's protected by a sintered disk made of stainless crushed steel.
